Valentine’s Day at school is always FULL of LOVE!
For the last couple years, I have incorporated the book “Love, Splat” by Rob Scotton.

There are so many fun, engaging and interactive activities that can be done for Valentine’s day or week.
Check out this adorable unit HERE on TPT.
My absolute FAVORITE activity is making LOVE POTION! This is fabulous way to integrate science. We simply mix red fruit punch and dry ice together (and YES…the kids can drink it after!!).
Focus: Comparing and contrasting liquid ice from dry ice. It’s a great way to teach how things can change from a solid to a liquid or gas.
VALENTINE SCIENCE
Check out these adorable videos from over the years.
**Side Note** The video above was from February 14, 2020. We had NO IDEA that in exactly one month, we would be in a COMPLETE LOCKDOWN! (Insert lots of sad faces)
Here are some more FUN IDEAS!
VALENTINE FRIENDSHIP FRUIT SALAD
VALENTINE ART
Attach a booklet to Splat with all your kiddos favorite Valentine things!
VALENTINE MATH
VALENTINE SIGHT WORDS
VALENTINE BANNER
The students choose something they love: favorite dessert, sport, tv show, game, toy, animal, etc. Then, they choose someone or something they love more. Next, they create their own banner with their choices.
I love MY MOMMY more than PIZZA! OR I love MY GRANDPA more than BASEBALL!
